The underthings at this spacious and elegant Southport shop range from very tasteful to utterly racy. Bra fittings are a specialty -- Chantelle and Simone Parrell ranking among the most popular brands -- with styles ranging from neutral and utilitarian to stylishly sexy. "We don't do crappy bras," says owner Christy Horton, so prices range from $60 to $100 and up. You'll also find flannel pajamas by Bed Head in funky, colorful prints, super-soft Barefoot Dreams bathrobes, cult favorite Hanky Panky panties in nearly every color imaginable, and zany accessories like bra-shaped travel bags. Hard-to-find high-end lingerie lines such as hand-made corsets by French line Aubade and all-lace bras and garter belts by pricey line Lise Charmel and risque tassel and crystal-adorned pieces by British brand Naughty Janet. A bridal room near the back of the store stocks everything from whispy white slips to bedazzled white cotton shorts. Much of the year you can also find stylish and sophisticated swimsuits and resort-wear, from bikinis to sarong wraps.
