Mint Boutique features unique gifts, jewelry and fashion accessories made by our town's own Chicago-area artists and designers. From artfully screenprinted tees to organic teas, you'll find it here, hand-picked by owner and former art school director Melissa Tierney. "Grateful not greedy" is the motto here, and along those lines, you'll find organic tees (and tea, too), sustainable soy candles and jewelry crafted from recycled glass. Can't decide between a scarf or a headband for your best friend's birthday? Tierney regularly employs Art Institute students to work the counter, so you can trust their impeccable opinions. The staff here will also custom design your own jewelry, replace a lost piece or have a new piece reinvented out of an old family heirloom.
