I moved here only a couple weeks ago, and can't stop going back! Love that they have 250 wines under $15 for casual evenings. Plus, every wine is divided into various sections of the store based on the grape variation - fruity, spicy, earthly, bubbly, etc. It is amazing. The alone has encouraged me to try a couple types that I normally would not pick up at the market. Plus, the owner has the CUTEST Boston Terrier that greets you at the door. What a great find - I recommend to everyone.
Report This ReviewI live in Lakeview and had passed Kafka several times wanting to check it out but waiting until I had a reason to really stock up on a few bottles of wine. Well that time came and what a disappointment my visit to Kafka was. Oh indeed they have a lovely little shop with a seeming impressive selection of wines. However, being that my companion and I were the only customers in the shop when we came in, I would have expected at least SOME attention by the gentleman running the store--however his attitude basically gave me the impression he really had no inclination to assist us. I have received FAR more assistance at Sam's and Binny's...which is a shame to say because I would prefer an independent "boutique" shop to get my money any day of the week.
