Jake
- Neighborhood: Rush & Division

- Chicago, IL 60611
- 312-664-5553
For the fashion-savvy, this upscale retail chain offers the latest in luxury designer shirts, jackets and jeans for men and women, plus shoes and accessories. The store has a sleek, modern look to match its collections, and huge floor to ceiling windows that look out to the alleyway near neighboring Le Passage. Women can peruse the work of established and emerging designers such as Sass & Bide, 3.1 Phillip Lim and See by Chloe; brands for men include Trovata, Oliver Spencer and Band of Outsiders. This Gold Coast location (others in Southport and Winnetka) features the highest of the high-end carried by the Jake franchise; a shift dress for $1750 isn't out of the question. But it also is the only location to feature "It's Great to be Jake," a section stocked with more affordable pieces. The term "more affordable," of course, is relative; items here are still $50-$250.
