Those who fear predictions of impending pestilence or death need not worry about Mrs. Hayward's readings. She focuses on the positive. 'Everybody walks out of here happy,' she says. Hayward specializes in palm ($20), tarot card ($30) and crystal ($40) readings. The crystal readings are most accurate, she says. Positive readings are not the only thing that separate this shop from many of its counterparts. Doorways here are not draped with beads and the air is not thick with incense. Golden stars and moons and neon lights adorn the midnight blue waiting room, and a television and stereo help pass the time while waiting your turn.
