Although Calabria recently moved into this Beverly storefront, they have been serving the South Side since 1975. The major difference you will notice between the Blue Island location and the new space is they no longer carry wine. This deli has a great selection of imported Italian meats, cheeses, olive oils, pastas and sauces, along with offering made-to-order deli sandwiches, soups, pastas and pizzas. House-made sauces and soups are also sold in bulk. House specialties include Italian beef and sausage sandwiches. The full-service catering department serves pasta, salads, submarine sandwiches and party trays for pick-up or delivery. Calbaria also creates gourmet gift baskets and handles shipping.

"The Mickey and Freddy sandwiches..."

The Mickey and Freddy sandwiches are the best on the southside and the homemade soups are a reason to come back again. Service is quick and friendly.
