I've been going to exsalonce for many years for both their salon and day spa services and treatments. their staff is super friendly and warm; so you feel like a true local when you visit. my husband is hooked on their spa services for guys. i recently got married and had tony - the owner - put in blond extensions for my wedding day and honeymoon. my hair has never looked more beautiful or felt more soft. tony really made me feel like a princess!

I have been going to Exsalonce over three years now. I get compliments on my hair all the time. Tony (who's also the owner) did my hair and makeup for my wedding on July 5 and it was exceptional. I recommend this place to anyone who doesn't want to pay high prices but at the same time gets a remarkable hair experience.

A friend referred me to Tony, current owner of and stylist at Exsalonce, over eight years ago. I have had all of my hair care needs tended to by him ever since. The prices are reasonable to competitive, but well worth the cost. I get compliments on my hair all of the time, and I attribute that to Tony. Having moved from Lakeview to the Northwest side of the city has not detered me from going to Exsalonce. Tony has exceptional talent and skill which is reflected in his salon and the other staff he employs. Exsalonce also offers a full range of salon services which makes one-stop shopping easy at this neighborhood destination.

I have been going to this salon for years for both hair cuts and colors and waxing. My experiences have always been fantastic. The service is great and I am always very happy with the end results. Natalie is my stylist and I love her work. This little salon in the middle of Roscoe Village is beautiful and fancy inside, but still affordable. Plus, they are extremely accomodating and I've never had problems getting an appointment.

Tired of driving to the big name, very pricy gold coast salons, I decided to try a local salon and visited Exsalonce two years ago. I was greeted by pleasant staff, hot tea and cookies in a beautifully appointed waiting area before meeting salon owner and stylist, Tony. I have had my hair done by several top city stylists, but my hair has never looked better than it has since I started going to Exsalonce. The cut and color are always done right, and seven months ago I tried hair extensions for the first time. I am not kidding when I say I now have the hair of my dreams. I love my extensions! They last for months, and my 75 strands were done in less than an hour.

From the reciptionist to the stylist: rude, unprofessional and yes stuck up. I would never recommend anyone coming here. These people made me feel unwelcomed, unattended, unimportant. If you want to spend a good deal of money on a hair cut DON't COME HERE!!!!!!!!!!!

If you make an appointment - plan on waiting an extra 30 minutes. ( this has happend to me more than once - so I finally quit going there)

Funny, they want you to call them if you are running late - but they never seem extend the same courtesy?
