I went to the 316 Club a couple weeks back and couldn't believe I just found out about this place. I asked a friend where he gets his haircut because i liked it and needed to find a new place. He told me to go see his guy at 316. Well let me tell you i walked into this club and it was beautiful women everywhere. Besides the women i got a great haircut and it has a great ambiance. Great service from beginning to end. I've just found my new spot. I guess his guy is now my guy too. BTW his name is Carmelo.
Report This ReviewI found out about the 316 Club when a friend of mine treated all his groomsmen to a shave the morning of his wedding. The place is over the top! I felt like I was chillin in a High-End Guy's Hangout. I don't want to sound cheesy by saying a "Capone Hideaway" but this place has that kind of muscle. I just moved here to Chicago and work in the loop and will definitley be going back to the 316 Club.
Report This ReviewI took on a massage and haircut at this place and was blown away by the attention to detail. The massage therapist was very knowledgable and inquired about any injuries, aches or stress I may be experiencing. It was a great massage not like some of the massages I get that seem like they are just going through the motions. My haircut was detailed and precise. My stylist spent time understanding how i wanted the cut and offered some suggestions given the type of hair I have (thinning). She worked her scissors with carfeful detail and my hair felt it had more body than ever before. I topped it all off with a shoe shine and beer. They even had playboy. It was very relaxing and will definitely be back.
Report This ReviewI purchased an ultimate shave ($50- 45 minutes) and a haircut ($52- 30-60 minutes) and was in, shampooed, shaved, and out the door in 45 minutes. Hey, guess what, if I'm paying for a man-spa experience, I don't want to be rushed out the door. The guy who shaved me was the same person who cut my hair and he was more of an old school barber than a stylist. THat's fine and all, but for a $52.00 haircut, I expect more than 15 minutes with the clippers. None of the stylists I've used before have used clippers because I pay more for my haircuts and the scissors are slower, but better. I asked this guy why he was using the clippers and he said "faster". Yeah, really? I even told him I needed my hair thinned out becuase it was too thick and he did nothing about it.
And the shave was fine, but for a 45 minute "ultimtae experience" it was a 15 minutes mediocre experience... again, for 50 bucks.
never going back.
Report This ReviewSimply put, the 316 Club kicks ass. Outstanding haircut, shoe shine, and complimentary beer - all in a great setting.
I highly recommend it.
