Eye of the designer

We’re nothing short of enamored with the latest crop of T-shirts from local maker Threadless -- so much so that we couldn't stand to spotlight just one. The rule of thumb when shopping the shirts at the company's Lakeview store is to get 'em before their gone, as new designs debut every week in limited runs. In case you couldn't guess, this design is called "Animals with Eyepatches" ($17). Brock Davis, the artist who created it, offers his design inspiration: "I love animals and I love eyepatches so I thought I would combine the two to form this design. Here we have rabbit, horse, hawk, wolf, kitty and bear all enjoying their eyepatches." Love it.
