A skateboard's second coming

We've been known to covet jewelry made from odd sources, from earrings cut out of vintage tins at Habit to pendants crafted from pottery shards at Grasshopper 510. But our latest fave are these funky pieces made from skateboard decks by Canadian husband-wife team Jann and Jeff Whidden under the name 2ReVert. The only shop to carry 'em in Illinois at the moment is A Cooler Planet in Roscoe Village, selling necklaces like the one shown here ($35), plus earrings ($39), bracelets ($32) and rings ($32.)
