The owners' hands-on approach extends to every aspect of the business. Krainik designed the airy, open shop himself and did almost all of the work to transform what was once a bare-bones rug shop into a distinct, modern-meets-rustic space, integrating repurposed elements such as old wine corks and 100-year-old Wisconsin barn wood.
