Thanks to a loyal base of web customers in the Midwest, jewelry designer Helen Ficalora has set up her fourth shop (the others are in Soho in NYC, Beverly Hills and Palm Beach) in Lincoln Park. If you don't recognize the name, you might recognize the look -- her delicate jewelry's a celeb favorite and was featured heavily in the movie "27 Dresses."
Ring the buzzer and step up into this ultra-girly parlor glammed up with all-pink walls, gilded gold mirrors and sparkly chandeliers. Ficalora's known for her delicate charm jewelry; start with your choice of chain necklace and add on anything from alphabet discs to whimsical hearts and stars. Most pieces are available in white, yellow or rose gold (and with or without diamonds); though feel free to ask staffers if sterling silver is available.
