A super-sized version of this cheap-chic mall retailer has taken up residence in the former Virgin Records space on Michigan Avenue. Step into the store and you'll immediately face an adorable display of mini-dresses, all positioned along a wall painted with "Hairspray"-style hairdos. The 39,000 square feet of salesfloor is divided into several different rooms with differing decor, from a circular room floored with river rocks to a vintage-style alcove featuring an antique-style armoire. On the main level, you'll find a checkerboard-floored accessory section offering bowls of bangles and headbands, handbags in sizes from teeny-tiny clutches to massively oversized totes and bejeweled heels of all heights. Head up the escalators to the second floor for more women's clothing, both casual and fancy, plus a small men's section brimming with colorful hoodies, graphic tees and crisp black-and-white dress shirts, vests and slacks.
