Remember Nau, the eco-friendly clothing shop that once lived on Halsted? The brand is back in Chicago in the form of Connect, a third-party retailer stocking the full line of outdoor and activewear for guys and girls.
Similar to Nau, Connect will function as a retail showroom which means you can purchase items in the store but are encouraged (with a 10 percent off discount) to have them sent free to your home via bike messenger (or UPS if you're outside the city limits). The concept allows the store to carry less stock in the store and keep costs down. Nau merch makes up about 75 percent of the stock here, but you can also check out Satori's organic cotton and hemp jeans, Connect's in-house line of basic organic tees and Noon Solar bags, which will charge your cell phone via a built-in solar panel.
