Pedicure deals

Though this week’s snow showers may suggest otherwise, sandal weather is going to set in sooner or later—and your toes better be ready. These pedicure hot spots will clean up your feet just in time for outdoor dining season, all for $35 or less.

WEST LOOP
Spa Space (pictured)
The deal: Mini-Pedicure, $25
The perks: Short enough to fit in on your lunch hour, this 30-minute treatment includes nail filing and shaping, a short massage and polish—good for maintenance if your feet are already in decent shape.
The catch: It lacks heavy duty scrubbing of the spa’s full-length pedis ($45-$80), which you may need to spring for if your feet haven’t seen a loofah since September.

SOUTH LOOP
Salon Vision
The deal: Basic Pedicure, $33
The perks: Chick flicks are in constant rotation on the TVs here, so you can zone out while your technican takes care of the fancy footwork.
The catch: Take the train to this trendy spa, as street parking is scant. What’s the point of saving on the pedi just to blow it all at the parking garage?

GOLD COAST
Spa Emilia
The deal: La Petite Pedicure. $30
The perks: Revel in a peaceful atmosphere complete with candles, fresh flowers and soothing music. Walk-ins welcome; appointments recommended on weekends.
The catch: iPhone addicts beware: No cell phones are allowed in the spa.

RIVER NORTH
Allyu Spa
The deal: Express Pedicure, $35
The perks: Eco-friendly fans, rejoice! This pedicure uses vegan, dibutyl phthalate-free polish. Take advantage of the spas mediation tent before or after your session and relax with complimentary herbal teas and lemon-flavored water.
The catch: This pedi lacks the brown sugar-honey scrub and the Dead Sea mud mask of the more expensive Spa version ($50). Also, plan to take the bus—street parking is a challenge.

BUCKTOWN
Lee Nails
The deal:  Basic Spa Pedicure, $25
The perks: Friendly faces, oodles of polish colors and a $35 mani-pedi combo available six days a week reel in repeat customers.
The catch: Those looking for a swanky affair may be disappointed by the strip-mall location and lack of trendsetting decor. Also, it’s closed Sundays.

LINCOLN PARK

Lily Nail Spa
The deal: Spa Pedicure, $25
The perks: The clan at Lily’s may not remember your name, but they’ll recognize your face. And with Trinity Bar right down the block, why not made this pedi the cornerstone of your girls’ night out? Also worth mentioning: the $30 mani-pedi combo, Monday through Wednesday.
The catch: Don’t expect to partake in a girly, salon-style gabfest since the technicians’ English is limited.

LAKEVIEW
Pinky Nail Studio
The deal: Basic Pedicure, $30; Sea Salt Pedicure, $35
The perks: Earn points for every service with a frequent customer card and trade ‘em in for future discounts. Enjoy succinct, yet sturdy service complete with a bonus neck massage.
The catch: This popular spot brings in the crowds, especially after work, so call ahead or plan to wait.

ROSCOE VILLAGE
Twinkle Toes
The deal: Basic Pedicure, $30
The perks: Add a manicure for just $5 extra Monday through Wednesday. Indulge in a short neck massage while your nails dry.
The catch: They accepting walk-ins, but set an appointment to guarantee speedier service.

ENGLEWOOD
Darcell Lo’Ren Foot Spa, Salon and Shoe Boutique
The deal: Spa Pedicure, $35
The perks: Shoe fiends will love this set-up: a shoe store and a salon in the same building.
The catch: If your retail will power is lacking, the store-spa combo could prove detrimental to your budget.

ANDERSONVILLE
2X10 Nails & Spa
The deal: Basic Pedicure, $30
The perks: Comfy chairs and captivating television (think “E! True Hollywood Story” rather than “Maury”) make getting a pedi at this spot the next best thing to loafing around the house in pajamas.
The catch: Though language barrier between guests and the technicians can grate, especially over the phone, it’s best to call ahead for an appointment.
