This indoor market brings together local artisans, crafters and entrepreneurs to hawk their loot, from scarves to furniture, in one space. It's like a street fair, but indoors -- and easier, since universal UPC codes on all merchandise allow shoppers to buy wares from multiple vendors at one central check-out. Organic denim from Earthgirls, funky screenprinted T-shirts by Novem and vases from City Scents are just a few of the wares proffered here from more than 40 mostly indie companies.
You'll find plenty of tchotckes and home goods with ethic flair, from Ethiopia to Ghana to Morocco. Jewelry designers exhibiting here are mostly bead-focused, including Deanna Rose, Senia Leko and Kimberly Polka. As for fine art, you'll find watercolors by Julie Ressler and photography by Scott Fishman, Denise Riesen and others. If shopping all of these vendors helps you work up an appetite, grab some goodies from Damn Good Cookies or Terry's Toffees, to eat on the spot or to stockpile for future gifts.
