The fall season has arrived at The Onion Pub and Brewery, which has begun offering its seasonal fall menu. The new menu is perfect for the changing weather and features many fall favorites, such as butternut squash ravioli, served in a pumpkin ale sauce with spinach, mushrooms and pecans; pot roast sliders of braised beef pot roast served on soft butter rolls with a side of jack stout horseradish gravy, and a choice of fries or honey lime coleslaw; and pumpkin pie with whipped cream for dessert. The Lake Barrington pub is also offering a 10-ounce prime rib served with garlic mashed potatoes and broccoli for $18 on Saturdays only.

"Enjoy one of our seasonal beers with the new fall menu this season!" Mike Kainz, brewmaster of The Onion Pub and Brewery, said.

The Onion Pub and Brewery’s seasonal beers include the Pumpkin Ale, a spiced American ale; the Oktoberfest, a Vienna lager; and Otis, a hop harvest IPA.

In addition to the seasonal menu, The Onion Pub and Brewery offers a classic menu year-round, such as the famous Onion Pub Burger, a grilled chicken sandwich, fish and chips, and Onion Pub chili in a tortilla bowl.

About The Onion Pub and Brewery

The Onion Pub and Brewery began as the Wild Onion Brewing Co. in 1996 with the simple goal of brewing the finest beer available to local beer drinkers. Its original brewery was located two blocks away and was pieced together with used dairy tanks in a small warehouse. As The Onion Pub and Brewery grew its keg and bottle sales throughout Chicagoland, it began to dream of building a taproom and pub on its site. That dream became a reality when The Onion Pub and Brewery opened its doors to the public in 2003. The Onion Pub and Brewery invites the community to visit its three banquet rooms that can accommodate up to 250 guests.
