Chicago’s Four Farthings Tavern and Grill is arranging a game day bus to the University of Iowa Hawkeyes versus Northwestern University football game on Oct. 27. The bus leaves at 10 a.m., with beer included on the bus to and from Northwestern University.

“Take a bus from your Chicago Hawk’s nest to see your Iowa Hawkeyes!” John Corry, owner of Four Farthings Tavern and Grill, said.

Each person who makes an early reservation will also receive a Four Farthings Iowa Hawkeyes T-shirt. Once numbers are decided, Four Farthings Tavern and Grill will purchase a block of tickets for everyone; however, participants are welcome to get their own tickets. The cost is $15 per person. Call 773-935-2060 to reserve a spot.

In addition, the Chicago bar is hosting a Halloween celebration to follow up the game day fun. The celebration is featuring drink special and karaoke, with costumes both welcome and recommended.

For those who can’t make the trip, Four Farthings' customers can watch all of their favorite games from the University of Iowa, the Illinois State Redbirds and Missouri Valley Conference basketball games at the neighborhood bar.

For more information about the activities on Oct. 27, or any of Four Farthings Tavern and Grill's products or services, call 773-935-2060, view the Lincoln Park bar on the Web at or visit 2060 N. Cleveland Ave. in Chicago.
