Plainfield’s Ukai Sushi & Chinese, offering traditional Chinese and Japanese dishes, is introducing new menu prices. In addition, it offers customers a quiet and peaceful atmosphere for enjoying meals.
"Our goal is to provide a premier dining experience in Plainfield with a full sushi and liquor bar, which includes a large range of sake," Ethan Wang, general manager of Ukai Sushi & Chinese, said.
Ukai Sushi & Chinese is now offering a variety of maki rolls from $4.45 to $11 and specialty rolls from $10.99 to $15.99. The Plainfield Japanese restaurant also features a sushi special for lunch: buy any two rolls on the given list for $8.99 or any three rolls on the given list for $10.99. Miso soup and a ginger salad come with both options.
A tempura lunch special is also available in six different options, with prices from $8.99 to $9.99. This lunch special is served with miso soup, a ginger salad and steamed rice.
Ukai Sushi & Chinese also offers a selection of Chinese lunch favorites, including kung pao chicken and egg foo young, served with an egg roll and vegetable fried rice. The extensive menu features a variety of traditional favorites, as well as chef's specials like honey walnut shrimp or a selection of steak dishes.
