The Scout Waterhouse and Kitchen, a restaurant and modern sports bar located in the South Loop, is the place to be for NFL and college football game days.

The Scout Waterhouse and Kitchen is the place for Bears games, in particular the Bears’ Oct. 1 Monday night game against the Cowboys and their Oct. 22 Monday night game at Detroit. There's a booth waiting for any guests.

"Also, catch college football games. No matter who you root for, all are welcome; we have plenty of TVs — over 30 flatscreens," Chris Bravos of The Scout Waterhouse and Kitchen said. "Enjoy college early games with our new brunch on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m."

The Scout’s sports package is also available for $15 per person per game with a five-guest minimum. This reserves seating for the party, ensures a personal TV is tuned to the game of their choice and includes four appetizers: wings, pulled-chicken nachos, grilled cheese and flat bread. A credit card is required to hold any sporting-event reservation.

Setting the standard for modern sports bars in the South Loop, this tavern and restaurant goes beyond your average beer-and-shot spot. Bringing together an intimate dining environment with wide-open spaces, warm copper finishes and a rustic, lodge-like vibe, The Scout Waterhouse and Kitchen menu includes sandwiches, burgers, flatbreads, seafood items and small plates, bridging contemporary American fare with classic bar-food favorites. The Scout has crowds cutting loose to a DJ on weekends, but during the week it’s more low-key, with smaller groups of friends sipping on signature cocktails and enjoying The Scout’s extensive brew list featuring craft microbrews. During the warmer months, dining on the outdoor patio sweetens the deal.
