In today's health conscious world, Cafe Bella, a Logan Square cafe by day and bistro by night, is an excellent venue for healthy food made from all natural ingredients without preservatives or additives. All of the food served at Cafe Bella is 100-percent trans fat free.
“Our freshly prepared weekly menus are from the Mediterranean to the Pacific Rim,” chef and owner Hector Pena said. “Our food is always fresh, and we never use frozen entrees."
In addition, Cafe Bella does not offer any fried foods.
Instead, customers will discover weekday menus that feature delicious appetizers, such as ceviche and spicy chicken quesadillas. Other options include gourmet sandwiches, paninis, wraps, pitas (Caribbean chicken is a specialty), soups and salads.

Cafe Bella features a heartier fare for dinner, with a menu that changes weekly and reflects Latin, French and Italian fusion. A few of the delicious and healthy menu entrees include skirt steak topped with a Madeira wine sauce and served with mashed potatoes and grilled vegetables; a Mediterranean platter with hummus, fresh olives, feta, extra virgin olive oil, Greek salad, falafel and pita; and grilled salmon topped with mango salsa and served with mashed potatoes.
The Logan Square cafe’s gourmet ciabatta sandwiches and wraps are served with a choice of cheese and a small side of pasta salad, chips or spring mix. Cafe Bella offers a marinated Caribbean chicken breast served with chipotle mayo, roasted red peppers, roasted yellow squash, roasted zucchini and avocado; a homemade and hand-pressed lean beef Bella burger with mushrooms, red peppers and jalapeno mix with chipotle mayo; and a Mexican Philly cheesesteak with olive oil, garlic, onion, green and red peppers, and chipotle mayo.
Dessert options include chocobella cake, homemade choco flan or tres leches.
