Wheeler Park The 57-acre park houses a miniature golf course, disc golf course, baseball diamond, soccer field, tennis courts, playground, picnic area and bike and walking trail.

Break for ice cream
Kimmer's Ice Cream Mix and match to try as many flavors as you can--choose between peanut-butter-and-granola laced Marathon, salted caramel ice cream in a pretzel cone, coffee and doughnuts and the Parent Trap (vanilla, Oreos and a peanut butter ribbon).

Windy Acres This family farm offers flowers in the spring and fresh produce in summer. Windy Acres Farm is packed with fall attractions including a corn maze, petting zoo, hay rides, pumpkin patch and inflatables.

Jump around
Jump Zone The 12,000-square foot play area houses eight inflatables where kids can jump, slide, run through obstacle courses and play dodgeball and soccer. There's also an area just for toddlers, an air hockey table and a parent zone with an HDTV.


St. Charles Skate Park In-line skaters and skateboarders can test their skills on a half pipe, flat wedge, launch ramp, planters, grind rails and grindbox at this park operated by the St. Charles Park District.

American Science and Surplus This hobby shop provides budding scientists with arts and crafts kits, toys, games, puzzles and science projects and all the supplies needed to build a science lab in your home.

Dinner at a diner
