We’ve been patronizing Chinn’s 34th St. Fishery since they opened, and we love it. The owner and staff are engaged, friendly and caring. The food is always good and prepared properly. Most importantly you don’t feel rushed. If you are in a festive mood, Chinn’s Mai Tai is the best way to get started. The garlic butter rolls are “to die for” and a real treat to start things off. The gumbo is the best I’ve had anywhere, including New Orleans, and almost a meal in itself. We love the hot plate with the grilled fish dishes. It gives the food a wonderful extra flavor and ensures the fish will stay hot all the way through the meal. The shell fish, crab legs and lobster are always great. To top it all off, their Key Lime Pie is the best. In all the years we’ve been going to Chinn’s we’ve never had a bad experience. I highly recommend it and we’ve taken friends and family there to their delight as well. It’s a friendly relaxed and casual atmosphere and a guaranteed good meal.
