As a friendly neighborhood bar with an inviting atmosphere, Rockwood Place in Chicago is ringing in the new year with customers on Dec. 31, from 8:30 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.
"We sell out every year, so people are encouraged to get their tickets early. If we do not sell out, we will have general admission available at the door, but that hasn't been the case in the last four or five years," Kristina Navarro of Rockwood Place said.
Rockwood Place is offering two package options on New Year’s Eve: general admission and VIP. The general admission package is $85 per person and includes a premium buffet, from 8:30 p.m. to 11 p.m.; premium cocktails, house wine and beer (excludes craft beer); a champagne toast at midnight; a DJ; and party favors.
The VIP package is for groups of at least five. It features everything included in general admission, plus VIP check-in (no waiting in line), a reserved table or booth for the group (tables for parties of five-plus and booths for parties of eight-plus), two bottles of champagne for tables, three bottles of champagne for booths, and one bottle of Absolut Vodka and mixers. The VIP packages costs $100 per person.

About Rockwood Place
Rockwood Place’s catchphrase is "good food, cold beer, fine whiskey." Bartenders are happy to whip up classic drinks like Jack and Coke, or crack open one of the craft brews off the newly designed beer menu. There's also a small stage for live music. Snack on create-your-own salads, cheese curds, burgers and flatbread-style pizzas.
