With 24 premium beers on tap and a 36-stool island bar, it's no wonder everyone heads to Morgan's on Maxwell Street Bar & Grill for college bowl games. The premier sports bar in Chicago offers great food, great drinks and great company, especially during the games.

"Starting Dec. 15 with the Gildan New Mexico Bowl and going all the way to the BCS Championship on Jan. 7, each and every game will be displayed on our surplus of HDTVs," Hans Skillrud of Morgan's on Maxwell Street Bar and Grill said. "Make sure to stop by on Saturdays, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., for our 25-cent wings."

In addition, the Chicago sports bar is hosting a New Year’s Eve party to remember on Dec. 31. Starting at 7 p.m., guests will enjoy a premium appetizer buffet, with shrimp cocktails, as well as open bar access.

"At midnight, champagne will be provided for a toast to the new year," Skillrud said. "Right when you thought the party was over, we will bring out a 12-foot sub sandwich for anyone wanting to stick around."

Tickets to the party cost $45 per person or $80 per couple. The event sells out every year, so call 312-243-4800 before it's too late.
