This Dec. 31, ring in the new year in style and let the creativity flow–with the help of a little champagne, of course. Bottle & Bottega, the innovative BYOB art studio franchise with locations around the Chicago metro area, is celebrating 2013 by hosting “New Year’s Art Bash” painting parties at the Lakeview and South Loop studios, located at 2900 N. Lincoln Ave. and 1241 S. Michigan Ave., respectively. Each event will feature a buffet reception, painting and dancing into the early hours of the morning.
Each event will kick off with a BYOB small bites buffet and reception. Lakeview’s buffet will be catered by Fiesta Mexicana, while the South Loop studio will feature food from Panozzo’s Italian Market. Afterward, guests will have the opportunity to paint their own artwork with the help of a guest instructor from 8:30 to 9:45 p.m. After the painting sessions are finished, the tables will clear out and the studios will transform into nightclubs complete with music from guest DJs, and guests can ring in the new year with dancing until 12:30 a.m.
Tickets cost $55 per person, including food, all supplies, instruction and a take-home canvas. Reservations are required, and space is extremely limited. Reservations can be made online at
Bottle & Bottega is one part artistic adventure and one part cocktail party, combining painting lessons with wine and beer for a fresh experience for celebrating birthdays, bridal or baby showers, bachelorette parties, or simple gatherings of friends, as well as a change from routine corporate events by empowering groups and bonding teams in interactive settings.
The hands-on art sessions can focus on painting on canvas, creating a mosaic, wine glass painting, jewelry making, live models and more, and are held at either a chic and spacious Bottle & Bottega studio, an off-site partner location (restaurants, bars, wine shops), or in private homes or  corporate venues.
Only three years in business, Bottle & Bottega is taking off fast. In addition to the South Loop studio, there is one company-owned studio in Lakeview and three franchised locations in the suburbs. A national expansion is also underway, with new locations recently opened in Denver and Portland. Projections call for the opening of 30 locations within the next 18 months with 160 locations nationwide by the end of 2015.

About Bottle & Bottega
Bottle & Bottega's hands-on art sessions created by Stephanie King-Myers and Nancy Bigley allow anyone to uncork their inner artist and create something of their own. The unique approach, which combines various forms of hands-on art instruction with a glass of wine, has helped create lasting memories for Bottle & Bottega guests since 2009.
