As Palatine's oldest tavern, Lamplighter Inn Tavern & Grille serves customers a variety of dishes, and recently added new items and drink specials to the menu. New dining options include 10 Specialty Burgers, all with half-pound Certified Angus Beef patties. You might want to try the P-Town, a peanut butter burger, or the Wilson Street, a unique meat lover’s burger with our “Hand Pulled Pork”, homemade coleslaw, BBQ sauce and two slices of cheddar cheese.

“All of our burgers are custom-made with Certified Angus Beef, the finest beef available. It is sure to be full of flavor, tender and juicy,” the owners of Lamplighter Inn Tavern & Grille, said.

The Bothwell Street is an all day burger! A ½ pound Certified Angus Beef patty topped with a fried egg and a large thick slice of ham cooked to perfection. Lamplighter also offers a variety of wraps. Their cheeseburger wrap is made from Certified Angus Beef with cheese, onion, lettuce, tomato and mustard. Customers may substitute for a veggie burger.

The Palatine tavern is also featuring new drink specials: $4.50, 32-ounce monster mugs of Bud and Bud Light on Sundays and Mondays; $2.50 pints of Miller Lite on Tuesdays; $14 buckets of Bud or Bud Light (five bottles) on Wednesdays; $7.75 pitches of Miller Lite, Coors Light, Bud and Bud Light on Thursdays; $2.99, 23-ounce Buds or Bud Lights on Fridays; and $4.50, 32-ounce personal pitchers of Miller Lite or Coors Light on Saturdays. In addition, Lamplighter Inn Tavern & Grille has shot specials every day of the week.

"Every Wednesday we have the longest-running open mic night in the area," the owners said.
