he Corner House, the home to unique international coffee blends in Lombard, is warmly welcoming customers to its second location. Only about a block from its Charles Road store, the new store for coffee lovers is located inside the Lombard Train Station. The store at the station offers a menu similar to The Corner House's main location, but with an increased focus on coffee drinks and pastries, instead of sandwiches, desserts and gelato.
"We hope that this won't upset any of our loyal customers and hope they understand that with growth comes a little change!" Justin Landry said.
The second shop opened its doors to the public on Nov. 12, and serves aromatic coffee brews and blends from 5 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Mondays through Fridays. This is a great morning treat in a convenient location for early commuters. The business hours at The Corner House’s main location have also changed. It now operates on Mondays to Saturdays, from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.; and Sundays, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The Corner House is Lombard's independent coffee bar that is dedicated to providing delicious drinks from fresh and locally roasted coffee beans in a welcoming and friendly atmosphere.
For more information about the new location or any of The Corner House’s products, call 630-317-7938, view the Lombard coffee shop on the Web at or visit 100 W. St. Charles Road in Lombard.
