The Grid, the newest venue in River North, is now serving a great dinner menu, created by Thomas Elliott Bowman and Ben Roche, two of the city's top chefs. The sports bar is serving dinner seven days per week and is open on Mondays through Fridays, from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m.; Saturdays, from 11 a.m. to 3 a.m.; and Sundays, from 11:00 a.m. to midnight.
“Sit fireside and enjoy an array of snacks--from pad thai peanuts to duck fat cheddar popcorn. Guests will never grow tired during this culinary warm-up because our all-star team is changing these flavors daily! And make sure to save room for sweets--our pumpkin cheesecake is made with a smoked sugar crust,” Steve Tavoso, owner of The Grid, said.
The new menu includes a variety of foods, such as the tuna poke with spicy lemon ginger and prawn crackers, and the warm crab with shiso, scallion and pita. The sports bar’s larger bites feature wings with butter confit, buffalo powder, whipped stilton and celery; or fingerlings with smoked salt, truffle and “loaded” creme fraiche. The Kobe burger comes with bacon BBQ, shallots, pickles and umami mayo on an egg bun.
Due to the nature of The Grid’s cuisine, it does not allow modifications.
