Four Farthings Tavern and Grill, a Lincoln Park neighborhood bar with reasonable prices, is hosting a Black Wednesday party on Nov. 21 at 6 p.m.


"Make Four Farthings your new Black Wednesday tradition!" John Corry, owner of Four Farthings Tavern and Grill, said.


During the Black Wednesday party, Four Farthings is featuring drink specials, such as a $10 discount on all bottles of wine, $3.50 Miller Lite drafts and $4 Angry Orchard Ciders. The evening also includes half-priced appetizers until 7:30 p.m.


Mark and the Messengers is providing live music during the Black Wednesday party, and as an added bonus, the bar is raffling free trips to Hawaii and Las Vegas. The raffle is free to enter.


Four Farthings Tavern and Grill is a neighborhood pub with an outside patio and reasonable prices. It serves brunch, lunch and dinner, with lunch items ranging from $8 to $15 and dinner items ranging from $11 to $30. Prime-aged steak and seafood, such as whitefish and crab cakes, are popular.
