Libertyville’s Mickey Finn's Brewery is thrilled to announce that its Christmas beer, Santa’s Magic, will be released to the public the  Friday following Thanksgiving, on  Nov. 23.

"Come in and have dinner and a Santa’s Magic to kick off the holiday season with us!" Brian Gano of Mickey Finn's Brewery.

Santa's Magic is a Belgian strong ale that is 7.5 percent,  clear and golden in color. Highlighted by spicy and fruity tastes, this beer features a lighter body than most beers the Libertyville brewery produces. The aroma is very complex due to notes of fruits and spices, as well as honey and dark Belgian candy sugar that was added during the brewing process. This is Mickey Finn’s Brewery’s most popular seasonal beer, so don't wait, it's usually on tap for only a few weeks.

Coincidentally, the release of Santa's Magic is happening on the same weekend as the tree lighting in Libertyville, which happens right across the street from Mickey Finn's Brewery. The tree lighting event features caroling, shopping and music to lift the holiday spirit.

Mickey Finn’s Brewery has been serving handcrafted beer since 1994, and great burgers and wings for even longer. Anyone can brew beer, but Mickey Finn's Brewery prides itself on the commitment it gives to its truly unique ales and lagers.
