Clark Street Dog, Lakeview's answer to late-night fast food and hot dog cravings, is now offering new fall beers on its menu, plus an October beer special. Clark Street Dog’s new beers include Shiners Oktoberfest and Brooklyn Brewery Pumpkin Ale.
In October, Lakeview's Late Night casual dining restaurant is featuring Goose Island's gold-winning India Pale Ale as the beer of the month. Goose Island's IPA won the 2012 gold medal at the Great American Beer Festival for English-style IPAs. In celebration, all Goose Island draft beers at Clark Street Dog are only $3.50 during October.
"Locals, as well as tourists, appreciate our little neighborhood bar because of the Goose Island selection of beers. Our focus on food and drinks are all about Chicago," Angelo Velliotis, owner of Clark Street Dog, said.
No other place has been serving the late-night crowd in Lakeview as long as Clark Street Dog. Many venues have opened and become a distant memory in Clark Street Dog’s 35 years of existence.
Clark Street Dog serves a variety of food options, including gyros, the original Chicago Philly steak, hot dogs and chili, chicken sandwiches, beef and sausage sandwiches, and burgers--all made with the freshest ingredients and topped with a variety of dressings.
