Innovative BYOB art studio, Bottle & Bottega, which has several franchises throughout the Chicago metro area, is announcing that the Glen Ellyn and La Grange locations have both signed leases for permanent studios. The two businesses, which have been operating on a mobile basis since early this summer, will open their storefront locations in November.

The La Grange studio, which will open at 1 W. Harris Ave., is owned by husband and wife team Paul and Meg LeFaivre. The couple opened Bottle & Bottega in June out of a desire to get more deeply involved with their community, and have hosted a number of public painting parties at venues across La Grange and surrounding cities.

The Glen Ellyn studio, owned by longtime residents John and Lynn Day, will be located at 498 Crescent Ave. Their mobile business launched in mid-August, and the couple has established ongoing partnerships with bars and restaurants throughout the western suburbs to host “pop-up parties,” as well as fundraisers, birthday parties and other events.

“Bottle & Bottega is unique in that it can truly thrive as a mobile business, but permanent studios will allow these two locations to entrench themselves more deeply within their respective communities,” Stephanie King-Myers, founder and president of Bottle & Bottega, said. “They will be able to host more events than ever before and spread the values of Bottle & Bottega – creativity, collaboration and fun – with a wider variety of people.”

Bottle & Bottega offers BYOB (bring your own bottle) art classes and parties for birthdays, bridal and baby showers, bachelorette parties, and team-building events in studios and off-site partner locations like restaurants, bars or wine shops, in private homes or in corporate venues. Guests bring their own beverages and enjoy an instructor-led evening of art creation.

Only three years in business, Bottle & Bottega is taking off fast. The flagship studio is located in Chicago’s Lakeview neighborhood and a second company-owned location opened in the South Loop in August. In addition to the La Grange and Glen Ellyn franchises, there is a mobile business in Evanston, as well as a studio in Denver, Colo. Another location is scheduled to open later this year in Portland, Ore.
