Chef Erik Williams, who's also cooked at Bin 36 and Volo, offers contemporary kosher parve (that's no dairy and no meat) fare at this casual spot from the folks behind Good Morgan Kosher Fish. His inventive, fish-focused menu includes dishes such as house-made gnocchi in white wine-garlic-tomato sauce with grilled gefilte fish; and black miso-marinated escolar grilled on a cedar plank and served with truffle-scented slaw . Fancier fare aside, Williams says the best seller is the whitefish sandwich, available grilled or fried with choice of two sides (options range from potato hush puppies to teriyaki-glazed haricots verts). Though the place is BYOB, any booze you bring must be kosher.
