Berry Chill Yogurt Couture

Like Pinkberry, Berry Chill proffers frozen yogurt, but the stuff here is allegedly healthier – they tell us the yogurt is 100-percent fat-free, less than 25 calories per ounce and that it's made with lactose-free milk, plus the yogurt gets the seal of approval from the National Yogurt Association. The original “freezy tart” flavor is their spin on plain soft-serve, plus they have rotating selections like chilled latte, chilled hot chocolate and strawberry banana. Yogurt concoctions include BC Blenders (smoothies) and a BC Blast (yogurt with toppings mixed in) with add-in choices like mini Oreo cookies, blackberries and Brazilian papaya.  Added perks: instead of heading for late night tacos after a night of drinking you can fill-up with something good for you —they’re open until 4 a.m. weekend nights. Later this year, look for two new Loop locations to debut (at 132 N. LaSalle St. and 500 W. Madison St.)
