I love this restaurant. The food is great and the staff is always really nice. i have been here alot and never had a bad experience.
The inside is a little small so sometimes i feel awkward when i walk in, like everyone turns to stare. Once you sit down though everything is fine.
I would definitely recommend to anyone and everyone!

Every time I go to the Diner I get great food and the waiters are always nice. My boyfriend and I have been going here for several years and we bring our two year old with us as well. She devours their vegan grilled cheese for kids every time. I highly recommend the Dagwood sandwich and my boyfriend loves the shepherd's pie. Great restaurant!

One word - Execution. Every item we ordered was badly prepared. The appetizer (a baked pastry & cheese thing) was served stone cold in the center. When we sent it back it returned with the consistency of rubber (microwave reheat?). My wife's burger was overcooked and hard as a rock, while the soy bacon was limp and the sweet potato fries were soggy. My own seitan dish may have come out as intended, but it was bland, colorless, and insipid. The mushroom sauce was watery and seemed to lack any mushroom flavor. I've cooked for a household that includes a vegetarian for 10 years, and I know vegetarian and vegan food can have great color, texture, and taste, but I didn't see any of that. Service and ambiance were fine, but nothing makes up for the awful food. A truly disappointing experience.

This is a great place for vegetarians. The menu might take a bit of getting used to for non-vegetarians, but my carnivorous boyfriend loves the enchiladas. Their vegan desserts are delicious, especially the cookies. Its great to find a restaurant offering soy milk and cheese.

I absolutely LOVE this place!! It’s the ultimate vegetarian-vegan place to dine at. The staff is extremely helpful, nice, and out going. I took one of my friends there and he loved it. It’s our favorite spot now!! I recommend the BBQ ‘Bacon’ Cheeseburger. It is AMAZING! And if you have a sweet tooth, try the Cookies N Cream cake. YUMMY!

a solid, excellent experience. they don't take reservations & I had a 'surprise' dinner party planned. the staff worked together to accommodate us, & they were a helpful, cheerful lot. the restaurant is incredibly small, so if you want to have dinner w/out waiting too long (which could be outside) I absolutely recommend going early 5-6pm, esp. if you have 4+ ppl. the bloody mary I ordered was YUM & Very Very Spicy. everyone really enjoyed the food, we were glad we went.
Report This ReviewThis is the ultimate vegetarian-vegan restaurant in the city. The portion sizes are huge and the menu is large and diverse. I think some of the dishes, particularly those trying to replicate their meat-counterparts, are a bit too bland. But there are other great options, like their stir frys and pastas, as well as their vegan hot chocolate. The service was great and the atmosphere convivial and fun.
Report This ReviewAwesome food!! The service can be a bit slow but everyone is nice. Just relax!!!!
Report This Reviewwe waited forever for our food. our appetizers came out cold and not really impressive. Other tables seemed to get their food before us even if they ordered similar things as us.
My boyfriend's "gyros" was overcooked to being way too crispy and unchewable. My usually good reuben was warm not hot and also overcooked.
I usually like it but the quality seems to be going down down down.
