A vegan, organic, gluten-free menu changes weekly at the Balanced Kitchen. There's no meat, wheat or dairy here, but executive chef Zachary Bello promises highly seasoned, delish dishes like pizzas crowned with kale and pesto and raw ravioli made from thinly sliced, marinated radishes instead of pasta. Quench your thirst with Italian sodas and shakes, or order from the espresso bar, which features fair-trade coffee. A retail section offers vegan mixes and ingredients so you can whip up your own healthy foods at home. The furniture here is also made from recycled materials, while meals-to-go are served up in reusable dishware. Reservations are required for Sunday brunch.
