Once you enter the lobby of the Drake Hotel, turn left, walk up a few stairs and you're in The Palm Court. The sweeping room is equipped with a classic bar (seats 10), fountain, old-fashioned lounge furniture and, depending on the time of day, either a harpist, pianist or jazz duo. Afternoon tea features scones, fresh fruit, breads, French pastries and finger sandwiches. A light dinner menu offers a shrimp cocktail, club sandwich and in the winter, thick goulash.
