A South Side institution, Manny's serves delicatessen foods with sass. Grab a tray and file through the cafeteria line ogling the Swiss steak and braised ox-tail stew, to name just a few choices. If it's corned beef you crave, Manny's does one of the best sandwiches in town, stuffed with more juicy meat than its two slices of rye can actually handle. The crowd is a mix of aldermen, fire fighters and neighborhood old-timers.
