This River North spot is owned by the same family as Lincoln Square's Spoon Thai Restaurant, but the menu here is broader, offering Thai dishes, sushi, sashimi and maki rolls. Thai specialties include pad taley, a dish of shrimp, scallops, mussels and crab meat stir-fried with bamboo, basil and peppers in a curry sauce; and nyoum trayong chaek, a salad of chicken, shrimp, coconut and banana blossoms with fresh mint and basil. Nigiri sushi is sold two pieces to the order. Individual maki choices include the special maki with shrimp tempura, cream cheese, avocado, chili sauce and scallions, or opt for one of the off-the-menu weekly specials like the mango shrimp roll or salmon Thai curry roll.
