After 5 years toasting tea time in Elmhurst, The Spice Merchant and Tea Room has closed. Tea fans need not fret, though -- the business continues online, and the new tenant is Serene Teaz. This sweet tea bar's original location serves downtown Wheaton, however the new Elmhurst outpost is significantly larger and will serve as the local company's headquarters. However you like your tea -- hot, iced, white, green, organic, decaf or chai -- they've got it all here along with find oodles of tea accessories, from trivets to kettles to tea-themed jewelry and books.
