I go there all the time... always OUTSTANDING. Best bread, meat and cheeses... and their oil mixture is sooo good. If you want to have the best sub in the chicago area - GO HERE! It is sooo worth the drive. Cheap too... cheaper than subway even! My goodness these subs are delicious. You will be an addict after you try one... I've turned a good number of people on to this place. Small, family owned makes it that much better.
P.S while you're in the neighborhood stop by Johnnie's Beef too and get one of the best Italian Ices and beef sandwichse.

This is one awesome deli shop. The subs are unmatched in taste, value, taste, and addiction. If Jared were to eat Alpine's instead of Subways, he'd never lose weight. Great service and fresh food. While it's a bit hard to locate on North Ave, it's well worth the effort. All the subs are excellent, yet I love the German salami with all the garnish and cheese. I wish there were more Alpine's instead of Subways, especially in Hyde Park!
