You can see a caricature of Ditka's face on every plate here. You can see Ditka's NFL Coach of the Year trophy in a glass case. Despite its sports bar touches and its owner's blunt-nosed pedigree, Mike Ditka's manages to be a pretty classy place. Specialties include Da Coach's Pork Chop. Steaks, fish and pasta also grace the menu. Menu items range from tuna puttanesca with angel hair pasta to what's described as "Ditka Food": pork chops, hamburgers, pot roast and chicken. Several TVs are tuned to sports; Sinatra-type live entertainment tues through Saturday evenings; the cigar bar sells the house stogie, Iron Mike.
