Great selection of hot and cold tapas with good suggestion from staff. Have tried all kinds of menu items and it just a fun place to eat. Will go back again and again.

Went for the first time last night, the Sangriatini was delicious would have more but a little on the pricey side. The waiter was terrific and service was impeccable. I would definetly recommend this place to others and plan to go back in the very near future. I just hope it can hold its own at that location.

Food - amazing. Service - never had better. Decor - OK (Sometimes a bit loud inside because its all cement floors and walls and it echoes). Have been back three times and brought different friends and family members each time. We have always had a great experience, great selection of food and everyone we've brought absolutely loves it. We're so lucky to live right down the street from this place. We'll be back again and again and again!

This place is amazing and we feel so lucky to have it just down the street. Dinner has always been fantastic - baked goat cheese is a favorite as well as the skirt steak with blue cheese. Great ambiance, clean, friendly staff and a very attentive manager. Today was the first time we had tried the brunch and it was unbelievable. 24.95 and we had mimosas & dessert included. The buffet is one of the best I have ever seen. It was seafood heavy (about 50% they say), so if you aren't into shrimp and salmon you might have to stick to some of the other options, but there are plenty. They offer omelettes, fresh fruit, a lot of seafood options (salmon, shrimp, etc.) and we walked away feeling like we got a great meal for a great price. Also have kiddie food. The desserts that are included are full size desserts and you won't be disappointed! Cute outdoor seating available as well. Great food with great staff. Lucky to have it in the neighborhood.

It's great to see this new restaurant in the neighborhood. My BF and I walked over from Michigan on the both nights. We were very impressed by the waiters knowledge of the menu. Though you may be thrown off by the decor alittle (looked a little unfinshed in some areas) we found it to be consistent with the theme. It was very crowded and loud. My ONLY complaint is that the acustics/noise level is awfully loud. It reminded me of Cafe Iberico, which is not entirely a bad thing but that's my complaint there, one can't here conversations without having to yell! I wish Tapas Valencia would have taken noise level as a consideration when they were building. Service was great, food was unique and very good. Outside of it being too loud for a nice dinner, I give this place a thumbs up and may only consider it for a loud party but not my weekly dining excursions in the South Loop.

I wish that we could add more stars! This place was beyond awesome. The service was excellent. Our server was confident and knowledgeable about their extensive drink menu as well as the food. The ambience was fitting. It was a perfect blind of sophistication and ease. The food was exceptional! It was beyond our wildest expectations. We simply and truly fell in love with Tapas Valenica after our first bite. We had the goat cheese, garlic shrimp, a couple of beef and chicken dishes as well as the spicy potatoes. Every dish was cooked to absolute perfection! Seasoned perfectly! We are incredibly excited to have such a wonderful establishment in the South Loop. It’s the kind of restaurant that you immediately begin thinking of who you can recommend to it. I can say enough about this place! Please make it a point to indulge and experience this South Loop treasure.

I have been to Spain three times, every tapas restaurant in the Chicagoland area, and Tapas Valencia was the best! Each thing we ordered (we got a lot) was delicious. I couldn't believe how good the food was. The service was also excellent. The waiter took the time to really talk to us about each thing we ordered and when it was served, we also heard how each item was made. Overall, an amazing experience and will go back!

We went to dinner here last night for the first time. We live in the area and were a little hesitant as we've tried Exposure which is nearby and had a terrible experience. What a lovely surprise that we had at Valencia Tapas. The staff were great, we had drinks at the bar before being seated and from the bar staff who were lovely and quick, to our fantastic waiter who was not only attentive, but was very informative about the wines and the menu items. I don't eat meat and this restaurants has plenty of non-meat options that were delicious. I loved the grilled calamari, the seafood casserole and the marinated artichoke. Overall, I can't think of anything we ate that we didn't like! I am so glad this place popped up in our neighborhood and we will be back again (and again!). Keep it up Valencia!

This was our first time here and we will definately come back! Excellent food and best tapas place(food quality) that we have been too. Can't wait to go back and try some other dishes. Must get the bacon wrapped dates.

My date and I were at Valencia last night, it was the first time for the both. Over all we were both impressed. Very nice place, the food was very good as well as the wine. We ordered the Spanish chorizo, which we thouht was good but a bit dry. The grilled calamari was excellent, as well as the stuffed portabella mushroom, which our waiter recommended. We would definitely recommend Valencia to friend's, and we would definitelty go back again. One final note, I would recommend that the management do something to reduce the loudness in the restaurant, there is nothing to absorb the noise when the restaurant is crowded, the ceiling ic concrete, as well as the floor.
