Latin band the Bandoleros and manager Ron Levine are behind this internationally inspired Spanish restaurant and lounge in the West Loop. The Bandoleros used to be a regular act at a lounge formerly called Pasha, which resided at 642 N. Clark Street in River North before Manor moved in. The band has had their eye on starting up their own spot, and when this address became available, Pasha's former owners gave their blessing to reuse the name. Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights will feature regular performances by the band, while other evenings may feature DJs or live salsa, tango, swing or jazz music. A Spanish-inflected menu starts with small plates of croquettes and charcuterie and ends with sweets such as fruit-topped flan and bread pudding with sherry-poached figs. There are a handful of full-sized entrees like paella, but after 10 p.m., the kitchen sticks to a limited late-night menu. The bar will stay busy pouring pitchers of sangria and unique cocktails (such as the Guacamole, a lime-cilantro concoction garnished with avocado) and an eclectic lineup of imported beer and wine.
