Mi Ciudad
- Neighborhood: Irving Park / Avondale

This Equadorean restaurant serves terrific grilled steaks -- like the 13-ounce New York strip grilled to perfection and served with rice and beans -- but much of the other food on the menu disappoints. A full bar includes Ecuadorean wines and three Ecuadorean beers. Service is friendly and fairly knowledgeable, and the 12-table room is handsomely outfitted with warm wooden touches and cloth napkins. On Friday nights a strolling guitarist provides entertainment. And no, Mi Ciudad does not serve the popular regional dish of barbecued guinea pig.
