The atmosphere is relaxing. The service is consistantly very good. The food is always good and very healthy. The Turkey burger is well seasoned and the side salad is always fresh. It is wonderful to have them in the neighborhood.

I was very disappointed when I purchased a fried pork chop dinner with green beans and spaghetti. The green beans tasted like canned beans with chopped onions. The spaghetti was just ok, it was about the only thing I enjoyed. The pork chops was rubbery and had no flavor, they didn't even drain off the oil. $13 that I could have spent elsewhere. However, the establishment was clean.

The owners Mr.& Mrs. Kincaid were very nice. I needed space to throw a party for two family member. They accomodate me with no problems. I brought a large group of 35.The food was excellent. My family loved the place and kept asking where did I find them. I would highly recommend this place to have meetings, social events, or simply a romantic outing.
Report This ReviewI am continually impressed by the quality of food and family like atmosphere feels like home.
Report This ReviewThe service is a little slow and there seemed to be some confusion between the servers as to entree choices. Overall, the turkey meatloaf was delicious. It was accompanied by a rich and tasty gravy. The green beans were bright, fresh, and seasoned with salt and a chunk of melting butter! We also had the red beans and rice and I could taste onion and tomato in the mixture. The garlic toast was good too. We loved the southern style "sweet tea" and our glasses were never empty.
Report This ReviewLike the other reviewers, I was pleasntly surprised when I received my food. It was so good, and reasonably price. The average price of an entree was $6.00. I would recommend this to everybody. Go today if you can!!!!

Report This ReviewI've been going to this place since it first opened. I remember when it wasn't so busy and I wondered if it would survive a year. To my delight they have survived and the number of patrons has picked up tremendously.
This is a welcomed change from the typical gyros, hoagie, burger, fried chicken & fish joints that have overpopulated the southside of town. The fried chicken tender salad is fantastic. So is the rest of the menu.
I love this place.
Report This ReviewThis is a first rate dining spot on 71st. Just good food. All items on the menu are priced very affordably. They also have the best mango tea I have ever had. I would suggest 5 loaves to anyone who enjoys good food at a very reasonable price.
