Like Sal & Carvao, the Brazilian churrascaria that once occupied this space, ZED has roots in the one-price, all-you-can-eat Brazilian tradition. Though the chef-servers don’t don cheesy gaucho garb, they still walk from table to table with skewers of meat until you beg them to stop. Options include buttermilk-marinated bottom sirloin and goat cheese-crusted rack of lamb and seafood selections such as citrus salmon. The enormous “Harvest Tables” are stocked with charcuterie and artisan cheeses, as well as salads and sides. The splashy two-story space offers a focal-point fire pit, double-sided fireplaces, hand-finished wood floors and plenty of leather. There’s an open kitchen with counter seating, a wine bar and a lounge stocked with house-infused fruity vodkas and more. Other amenities include a luxe seasonal rooftop deck with its own bar and a la carte menu, plus there's fireplace and a glass-roof clerestory so you can peer into the main lounge below.
