McCormick & Schmick's: User Reviews

The food and drink menu may be a bit overpriced, but the service makes it all worthwhile at this suburban outpost of the McCormick & Schmick's empire. In the city I have suffered too much shoddy service at high end restaurants where the wait staff are most interested in pimping appetizers, booze, and desert . At M&S Oakbrook, it has been a treat to have articulate servers who know the menu and wine list, yet do not pressure us into ordering more than we want.

New resturant recently opened and all the employees were there to greet you very cordially. Excellent crab cakes and New England clam chower was the best I have ever had. Very good menu for sea food lovers. Walleye was very moist and not over cooked. Chocoholics will love the truffle cake for dessert. In this area, better and more reasonable then Braxton and Parkers. Hope the ambiance stays the same and they will have a winner
