This East Ukie Village BYOB, the sister restaurant to Mariscos El Veneno in West Lawn, serves an all-seafood menu in a similarly all-seafood atmosphere. The vibrant blue walls are decked out with marine life paraphernalia such as fake crabs, dried puffer fish and a large fishing net. Loud Mexican music and simple laminated tables create a laid-back vibe, making you feel as if you've stumbled upon a rustic crab shack along the beach. Lobster, shrimp, oysters and fish dishes are plentiful on the menu--if you fear the fish, this is probably not the place for you. Dishes are prepared "estilo Nayarit," or in the style of Nayarit, one of Mexico's west coast states, and showcase the many seafood preparations specific to the region.
